Rumors are in the air that the Audi company is getting ready to start a
batch production of the most compact line of its products, a crossover which
will be named as Audi Q1. And the rumor that the hatchback A1 will become a
convertible one was denied.
For the very first time the big crossover Audi Q7 was presented at the
segment of off-road vehicles in 2006 then the more compact Audi Q5 and after
was issued the city crossover Audi Q3 having very space-saving external
dimensions almost as a middle-sized
hatchback has got.
According to unofficial information the nova will be built using the hatchback
base of Audi А1, recently expanded by a five-door version and an all-wheels
drive one. Unfortunately there are no pictures and sketches of this mini crossover,
it supposed the design of the new-comer will probably be similar to the design
Audi A1 Sportback 2012 which is shown at the picture.
Also there are no approximate technical features and an exact date of sales start, but it expected the new model in the Q line will appear in the end of 2014 or the beginning of 2015.
