The 250 h/p Buick Verano Turbo of 2013


The Buick decided to expand the Verano line by the Turbo modification which engine makes 250 h/p and the torque in 260 lb-ft (353 Nm). This engine is a 122 cu in (2, 0-liter) Ecotec one with a direct fuel injection.

The Turbo version accelerates (not like the regular Verano) from 0 to 60 mph in about 6, 2 seconds while the fuel consumption (though he numbers are not final yet) as the GM claims, will have got the same efficiency as the whole line Buick's turbo-charged engines.




The assistant chief engineer, Amy Joss, when saying about the Ecotec 2.0L declared that "The 2.0L turbo engine was designed for refinement, higher output capabilities and reduced noise," "The way it sounds, the power delivery and the refined character are all fitting of a luxury sedan with a fun side."



The Buick Verano Turbo of 2013 will hit the market all over the US later the current year. It will rival against the Acura ILX 2.4L -2013, the one which can produce only the
peak torque in 170 lb-ft.
The regular features that can be found in the Verano Turbo 2013 will be heated steering wheel, heated seats, an audio system of the extra fine quality from Bose company, a dual exhaust pipe system, aluminum pedals, a rear side spoiler and an infotainment system by the IntelliLink.


There will also be as an option for the customers to tool up their Verano Turbo with a 6-gear manual transmission.
