Bugatti is “bidding up” in the category of supercars

We wait and wait for the time when the super-sedan Bugatti Galibier hits the market (or debut in its production appearance even). The specifications were already affirmed for their successor to the production car which is the fastest one in the world - the Veyron. They say that it is quite possible the new super-sports vehicle may be a hybrid. It was also declared that the successor will be lighter and faster than the Veyron - its precessor.

It’s expected to bear the name 'Veyron' again, the new modification can even use the same batteries and engines.

As it mentioned in a British magazine, Jens Schulenburg, Bugatti's Chief Vehicle Engineer told "We are working on the next super-sports car... The big challenge on the next car will be reducing weight - we are looking at some incredible technologies, such as wheels made entirely from carbon fiber. Hybrids are definitely something we're looking at, too."

The super-sedan ‘Bugatti Galibier’ is awaited to go on sale in 2014.

The new Veyron’s start of production is not scheduled yet. We are looking forward holding our breath as this one will use a hybrid technology and it will try possibly to eclipse the Super Sport's record of 268 mph.
