The Spanish company “Seat” prepared a completely revised line of vehicles under
name ‘Ibiza’ for the Geneva car show. The nova got an updated
appearance and a range of more productive engines. We can miss out some exterior
changes such as a new radiator grille, a new front bumper equipped with fog-lights
and new bi-xenon headlights. Also SEAT Ibiza got a new design of its rare part of the body, more
specifically revised bumper and tail-lights.
As for technical characteristics of SEAT Ibiza we can say that seven types
of the car engines are available to choose which the 3 and 5 doors
modifications are equipped with and the same is with the version ST. The whole range
of the engines is teamed with a five-gear mechanical transmission and a six-gear
automatic one too.
SEAT Ibiza ST station wagon has got 85, 43 cu in (1, 4-liter)
150 h/p gasoline turbo engine TSI. There is also more economic model which has
got 73, 23 cu in (1, 2-liter) 105 h/p engine TSI equipped with a “start/stop” system
for the better fuel consumption economy. Well, and finally one of the best modifications,
in our opinion, which has got 73, 23 cu in (1, 2-liter) 75 horse -powers diesel
turbo engine TDI. The sports version of SEAT Ibiza will be available mounted
with a 122 cu in (2, 0-liter) 143 h/p TDI which helps the car make run up to
the maximum speed of 130, 5 mph (210 km/h).
