Land Rovers were used in one
of the most famous Train Robbery
1963. On this very day the 15 thieves who took
part in the Great Train Robbery, one of the big-time heists of all time,
managed to escape using a military truck and two kinky Land Rover cars. All
vehicles were four-wheel drive and all-terrain ones. The hoisted loot was around $7 million.
