Opel Adam 2013


The Opel Company together with its UK affiliate, Vauxhall, presented the fresh urban-chic small vehicle, the Adam.

This is an all-new model was named after Adam Opel, the founder of the company. The car has got two-tone paint color structure, a “floating” roof, the LED day-time running lights, a chrome-plated wing-shape grille strip, the distinct line around handles of its doors, etc.


We can say that was used here so-called a "retro-based” design with some fresh look which as it was declared by the Opel Company, "will appeal to open-minded individuals who want to defy convention with a car that's distinctive and striking". Also they claim that is very hard to find two twin Opel Adams in the streets as there are over a million ways to individualize this 'classy, sophisticated and glamorous' vehicle.


At the beginning of production three different trims of the Opel Adam 2013 will be open for ordering. They are: ‘Glam’ (sophisticated & elegant), ‘Jam’ (colorful & fashionable) and ‘Slam’ (sporty & racy). Speaking about the power plants they are equipped with peaking about the power plants they are equipped with we can see three productive ‘eco FLEX’ four-cylinder gasoline engines: a 73, 23 cu in (1, 2-liter) 70PS and two 85, 43 cu in (1, 4-liter) ones rated at 100PS or 87PS. All of them will be available with an optional ‘Start/Stop’ system and teamed up with a 5-gear manual transmission.


The dimensions of the Opel Adam 2013 are 12, 14 ft in length and 5, 643 ft in width and a wheelbase of 7, 582 ft.


As for the conveniences and appliance which are inside of the car include an premium infotainment complex with a 7-inch touch screen built to aid media sources and fit up good connectivity for smartphones (Apple iOS or Android systems), an Advanced Park Assist II system, a heated steering wheel, clock-style gages with chrome-plated front panels.
