‘Tata’ will build a serial model of a car runs on air by the end of this year


The Indian company ‘Tata Motors’ anticipates the launch the sales of their vehicle which engine runs on compressed air by the end of the year. At present time the manufacturer has completely finished all the operations with building up of this engine and conducted some tests using two already existing models of ‘Tata’.


According to preliminary data, the new car will be called as ‘OneCAT’. It is expected that it will be a five-seater and its body made of the fiberglass. The car’s full tank will give the possibility to make about 80, 78 miles (130 km) thus the maximum speed will not exceed 49, 71 mph (80 km/h). To fill up the tank with the compressed air will take only  two minutes.

The price of this newcomer will be about $8’000.
