The Honda Company presented a slightly revised
Crosstour model at the 2012 New York Car Show, which is mostly just a facelift
of the model of 2009 but the vehicle nevertheless got the 'Concept' badge which
was applied to it by the automaker.
Not paying any attention to all the criticism
and low sales rate, Honda shows enough of its vigour to try the Crosstour
version again, considering that a modified tailgate, a more aggressive looking
bumper group, alloy rims of a new design and contrasting door molding assembly
will do this trick.
Speaking about Honda Crosstour Concept’s
interior of 2013 we can that it is also upgraded. It got a ‘start/stop’
ignition button, an 8-inch display screen on the dashboard of the car, its
steering wheel is tooled up with shift ‘paddles’ for the version V6 and updated
kind of materials used.
When it hits the market in September 2013, the
renewed Crosstour will be offered to consumers equippedwith a 146, 5 cu in (2,
4-liter) i-VTEC 4-cylinder 192 h/p engine generating 162 lb-ft of torque and
transferring it through a 5-gear automatic transmission or with a 213, 6 cu in
(3, 5 liter) i-VTEC 271 h/p V6 power unit teamed up with a 6-gear automatic
speed box.
The safety features coming with the renovated
Corsstour will include the Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning
(LDW) and ‘LaneWatch’ (this one monitors the blind spots of the car) systems.
