Lexus ES 350 and ES 300h 2013 'uncovered'

The Japanese company ‘Lexus’ presented the ES 2013 at the New York Car Show. This version appeared to be the most recent explication of Lexus's refreshed design style, mainly differenced by a new spindle grille and also by lots of elements as LED improved head-lights, an overhauled rear part with revised tail lamps, updated 17- inch alloy rims and more.

The cabin of ES 2013 has been entirely redesigned too, and here we speak about some of illuminations, semi-aniline seats of leather, a sound system by Mark Levinson, a updated Lexus ‘Enform’ system, vision pickup in the rear side, the Display Audio package with a 7-inch screen, HD radio-receiver, a system of a phone calls switching over, Bluetooth audio and an info display.

The latest Toyota Camry platform is used for construction of this vehicle. The revised ES line comes equipped with two different powertrain selections: a 213, 6 cu in (3, 5-liter) V6 Dula VVT-I engine teamed up with a 6-gear automatic transmission for ES 350 version, a 152, 6 cu in (2, 5-liter) 4-cylinder Atkinson cycle engine coupled with an electric motor for the ES 300h one.

All the performance features are not been specified, but Lexus declared that the ES 300h which would have the Eco, EV, Normal and Sport modes of driving, should consume 40 mpg in a combined cycle.

The prices and the dates of the time when they will be available at the market haven’t been announced yet.
