De Gaulle survived during
assassination attempt with the help of Citroen
1962. On this day President of
France, Charles De Gaulle, managed to survive during one of assassination
attempts against him thanks to the presidential vehicle and its excellent
performance. The car was Citroen DS 19 - the aerodynamic and sleek one known as
"La Deesse" (The Goddess).
